Focus on the Focus; or Amazing Adventures in Automobile Suspension

Hey all! Long time, no post! I've been very busy lately getting my Ford Focus fixed. For those of you who know me well, pretty much anyone who checks this blog, you know that I am a very safe driver and quite persnickety about my car maintenance. Knowing that, no logical reason exists why I should have had to replace 3 radios, front brakes, and a spring and mount with just under 50,000 miles on my car. Hell, Evel Knievel could have driven my car for 50,000 miles and I still wouldn't expect that much trouble. I'm pretty frustrated with this set of events. Expect to hear more about this shortly.

In other news, I saw some deer fornicating in the woods the other day while I was on a walk with my aunt and my beau (insert your own bow hunting joke here). Actually, they were gettin' busy in the river, which was a strange sight. I guess deer don't suffer from Shrinkage.

I'm waiting to hear about a few jobs, but I may just take off and leave the country for awhile. I'm getting very antsy while waiting to hear about jobs that I may not even want. Maybe it's time to visit Lou or head back and check on my ticos (the picture is our local beach in Costa Rica) or drink German beer with the Kirshmans. It's time for a road trip.....

  • Deer getting busy in the river! Wow. You didn't stand there for the whole steamy encounter did you? That would be kind of pervy ;)
That stinks about your car. Even my car hasn't had that many problems. But then again Ford Probe is pretty mighty. And easy on the eyes ;)
You should totally take a trip while you have the time. You might kick yourself someday when you're working like mad with no time for a vacation.
